Velma Phillips
Ms. Phillips has been an Educator for the Cleveland Metropolitan Schools for the past twenty-six years. As an educator she researches, teaches, and facilitates many educational opportunities for youth development. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Georgia and received her advanced degree in Administration/Superintendent Licensure from Cleveland State University.
When she is not in the educational classroom setting, Ms. Phillips enjoys supporting and working with youth as a private tutor to enhance and assist with building specific academic skills that students may need to further pursue their educational goals.
In addition, she enjoys traveling, walking, and reading a good novel.
